Yamato dies to Mirage's Djinn Mark when activating Ult

If there are any Djinn Marks applied to Yamato, when she activates her Ult the stacks will activate and deal damage. This damage goes through her death prevention and kill her immediately on activating the Ult, causing it to go on cooldown and for her to die.

Working as intended. The marks apply the damage on removal of any kind.

Yamato removes debuffs THEN becomes invincible.

Just sounds like a good yamato counter.
