Yamato can no longer parry while channeling Power Slash

The 09-12-2024 update contains the entry:
Yamato: Can now interrupt Power Slash with parry

This is no longer the case. I can not remember the update in which this bug emerged, but no other patch notes contain any indication of an intentional change.

The parry key does not do anything, and in order to parry you must cancel or finish channeling Power Slash. But there is significant delay before parry is available, which makes this bug even worse. This seems counter-intuitive to Yamato's playstyle encouraged by her abilities which facilitate her being relatively close to enemies, in danger of being meleed. This is especially true when compared to channeled or timed abilities on other characters. Some other abilities that allow parrying while channeling:
  • Bebop's Hyper Beam
  • Dynamo's Rejuvenating Aurora
  • Haze's Bullet Dance
  • Infernus's Flame Dash
  • Kelvin's Arctic Beam
  • Mo and Krill's Combo
  • Pocket's Barrage (must be cancelled into an immediate parry)
There are several others. It feels very strange that Power Slash is the only of these abilities that does not allow even an immediate parry, when most do not require or encourage positioning within melee range.
