Yamato 3 follows her model, not the cursor

Yamato 3 felt very inconsistent with its aim and in the video you can see why.

Moving the camera a few pixels left and right moves the slash significantly.

You can see the slash goes where Yamato is looking, not where the cursor is. That makes it really unreliable and inconsistent.

This also occurs when using it during stamina dash/dodge. Using it during a backwards or sidewards dodge while looking at a target will cause a miss 100% of the time. Very annoying considering it's the optimal time to use it.
