Why is aim not valued?

The point is, this game is both a shooter and a MOBA, BUT... There's a 3200 item in the game that completely negates bullet damage. And there's no alternative. How do you play on Haze? I don't understand why this game doesn't reward your shooting? Why do people who press one button deal more damage than me who spends five seconds tracking an enemy? It turns out this is Dota 3, not a real MOBA shooter.

I understand that. But it doesn't solve the problem. There's no item that negates magic damage for 3200 souls anyway. And there's not enough incentive for players with good aim.
There is, its called counterspell. Your incentive for good aim is killing people as a gun carry and many gun items and effects scale better with headshots. Plus as a gun carry you likely have the most souls so can buy curse which negates metal skin. Plus afaik certain gun-buildup debuffs pierce skin

If you have such a good aim. play wraith, haze etc.
you have plenty of 800$ items that will absolutely punish the enemy lane early like head shot booster and rapid rounds.
if you are annoyed at metal skin (a mid game item), bait it.

if you want to point and click this game is not for you.

I'm simply trying to get the point across that Metal Skin should be moved to the 6400 price point, or a similar item should be added for 3200 that grants magic immunity for 4 seconds and has a 24-second cooldown. Then I complain about heroes who can melee as much damage as me in 3 seconds of continuous fire (Calico, Venator), which is 100 times harder than just pressing a button. The same goes for other spells.

Consider just buying spirit resilience, I assure you, it's functionally identical to being completely immune to spirit damage, something bullet resilience doesn't do.
