I'm not sure how much of this is inherent to the game engine and cannot be changed but I'll list a few things I noticed:
- If you change the time in free cam, you're forced back to player cam
- The replay speed also impacts the free cam movement speed
- You cannot make the Game win/loss splash screen at the end disappear once it appears (even if you go back in the VOD)
- If you use the timeline scrubber, the killfeed becomes desynced with the game
- Sometimes the total health displayed is reset to 500, so your health will say something like 750/500.
- I use tab to show my mouse during replays but this also brings up the abilities menu like it does in the normal game
- You can make the mouse disappear. Steps to recreate:
1. Watch a VOD
2. Hold tab
3. Click on a dropdown menu (replay speed or kill/death
4. Without selecting an option, let go of tab
The mouse is invisible until you click a button or click escape
- Strange timeline desyncing occurs with pauses in VODs. This may happen with other buttons too but I can't really understand the behavior from just clicking around on it. Steps to recreate:
1. Watch a VOD that has a pause
2. Go to past after the pause in the timeline (such that if you click 10s back you will land in the pause)
Make sure you play past the pause, and you don't just click to after the pause on the timeline
3. Click rewind 10s a few times: it never goes back to before the pause
The behavior becomes very weird with playing around with it more but I couldn't get consistent steps.
