Right as the last form of Patron died, I was in the middle of watching a replay of my last death, and I was still in game while everyone else was out. I could walk around and kill minions still.
Watching death replay right at game end left me in the lobby.

nice catch but it will not give you any additional stats at the end of the match

Same thing happened to me just now, game ID 1929893. Doesn't show victory screen, shows all players as disconnected. Pressing ESC gives the option to "leave spectating". The game still gets reported correctly and stats seem correct.
