Was just called the N word and received multiple death threats but I got comm banned.

this might be legitimate but reminds me of a teenager who got caught saying a swear word/slur and immediately blames the other kids.

I included the match ID for a reason. I got banned because I got the four people queued together and just spam-reported me. Someone needs to manually view the match so I can be cleared and continue to play the game.
Edit: I didn't say a single slur just shit talk

did they say anything in text chat? or was it all over voice? either way report. also next time I recommend recording via steam's built in recording feature.
from what I understand, having played the game since June, there isn't a way to spam report people. you lose the ability to report, or even get banned, if you are spamming reports.
why'd they only spam report you by the way?
bro im not arguing this XD. I know what I said and what happened, I need a mod to check the log to confirm this, look at the first message, that's what happened.
edit: they also leaked my IP in game over voice

might check, just curious. so is it just one text message or a bunch of text messages?
afaik voice chat isn't recorded, or atleast isn't available to normal users. you can imagine how that data would add up over millions of matches. maybe they keep voice comms for matches where a player is reported, idk.
also with the new commendation system you can farm commendations for nicer teammates. I used to have more toxic teammates but over time I've had less and less. just be super kind and you'll almost never got toxic weirdos.
You do understand that by spam report, he means the four stack all reported him. Right?
Valve takes a very poor stance on fighting bigotry, so this mans story doesn't surprise me.

but why? I just want to know why him. and why it only took one game. maybe there's a reason. maybe there isn't. it'd be cool to know the details since this is a bug report forum and the user is claiming the report system isn't working well.
I've been in the game since June and I've never been banned or comm restricted. I've seen plenty of toxic people (some who used slurs against me) get banned, and plenty cry foul saying they did nothing wrong, but that's it.
