Hello everyone, this is an idea I had for a short range support character with a marking mechanic that makes him unique.

Warren the Transcendent
Weapon: Fires a beam out of his palm (15m range). The beam takes 1 second to charge and persists for 1 second after firing.
Ammo: 10
Reload: 5 seconds
Bullet Damage: 20 dealt 5 times over the beam's span (once per .2 sec)


1 Skill: Buddha Stomp
Warren stomps the ground (launching himself downward if he's aerial) releasing a knock-up AOE on landing.
Spirit Damage: 55 (+3 per spirit)
Range: 5m (+1 per 5m dropped)

Cooldown: 25 seconds
Knock-up Duration: 1.2 seconds

1 Point: -15 second cooldown
2 Point: +5m AoE
5 Point: All heroes in range are marked.


2 Skill: Divine Dash (charges ability)
Warren dashes to target. If the target is an enemy, deal spirit damage and slow target. If the target is an ally, heal spirit damage and grant a speed buff.
Spirit Damage: 35 (+3.4 per spirit)
Range: 25m
Cooldown: 30 seconds
Charges: 2
Speed Buff/Debuff: 20%

1 Point: +70 Spirit Damage
2 Point: -15 seconds cooldown
5 Point: +30% move speed Buff/Debuff


3 Skill: Mark (passive ability)
Warren's divine strikes leave a holy mark upon his allies and foes. These marks link each other through Warren's connection to the divine (or some shit). Heroes marked suffer an additional boon/curse whenever Warren deals spirit damage or applies healing to a target.
Bullet Resist: +-5% (max +-15%)
Spirit Resist: +-5% (max +-15%)
Cooldown: 20 seconds
Duration: 20 seconds

1 Point: +-5% resist max
2 Point: -10 seconds cooldown
5 Point: Marked heroes are linked. Meaning, if Warren dashes to an ally, a marked enemy will receive a debuff as if they we're the target of the dash. Another example would be a marked enemy would be knocked up by Buddha Stomp even if they were out of range if another marked enemy was hit.

4 Skill: Inverse Zone
Warren dances and a large zone of negative energy appears. During this channel, the zone reverses the movement controls and aim of the enemy heroes inside. Enemies nearby Warren are pushed away lightly.
Cooldown: 300 seconds
Range: 30m
Channel Time: 5 seconds
Push Rate: 1m/s

1 Point: +3 seconds channel time
2 Point: Marked enemies are affected.
5 Point: Damage dealt in Inverse Zone is now healing.

Does the max stack of the Mark ability also increase with spirit or does spirit just make it reach max faster? Fun concept
