Walker sees through walls and starts attacking through them even if it can't damage you. (i know that talon saw me but why did the walker?)

walkers dont use a camera to see like the player model does.

Walkers probably use a trigger zone, if you are in that trigger zone, they know you are there and will target you. The walls make it more complex by creating fields of LOS that tells the walker if they can or cannot hit you. So if can see a toe (or rather if you can see the walker in any way) you are in LOS even if you are standing in a way that the wall still blocks the damage from the attack.

Could be wrong since i dont have access to actual dev files but that is the most likely thing that is happening.

i understand that i was in range of walker attacks even if i was behinf the wall, but still i wasn't in its attack range so i hope they fix these minor things when walker starts attacking in these occasions, giving away the position

yea, i can see your reasoning.

My guess would be that it has more than one trigger threat range. 1 is a green zone where there are 0 enemies. 2 is an awareness zone that "wakes it up". This is likely more for minions because when minions are in this range the backdoor protections turn off. Then 3, attack zone. Obviously it attacks anything in that zone.

If i had to guess, the variables are currently just set to ALL enemies and doesn't differentiate between minion and players when it comes to targeting. This should be fixable, because it DOES differentiate between player and minion when it comes to back door protections.

Hopefully just be an oversite that they will eventually fix. Likely low prio.
