If Viscous or an ally has spirit shields while in "The Cube", the shield can be damaged by abilities (I have tested with Seven's "Lightning Ball" and Bebop's "Sticky Bomb")
I do not believe bullets can affect bullet shield while in cube, even with "Ricochet", it seems to only be an issue with spirit.
This means that spirit damage applied effects such as escalating exposure can be given to whoever is in the cube, as long as they have spirit shields to take damage from, rather than only placed affects such as decay
