The August 6, 2024 patch note states: "Viscous: Fixed Puddle Punch using Guardians as a surface to punch from." However, the ability can still be cast using a Guardian as its surface — it just doesn't show the directional arrow or activation particles on the Guardian. The punch still fires and deals damage as if it were intentional.
