After the latest update, Assassinate now has some kind of attack buffer.
It registers any kind of attack action you do right before you scope your ult and uses it to fire your ult automatically. For example, you can fire your weapon and then quickly press 4 to scope, and it will shoot on itself.
The same goes for melee attacks. Try to do heavy melee and right in the middle of the animation, begin to spam 4. Once the melee animation ends, you scope and it shoots automatically. It's like it stores previous inputs of any kind of attack actions and uses them to fire your ult
It the attached video i don't press any mouse buttons, so the ult can't be fired. But it shoots on itself
