The first is definitely not intended - at some point in the game I was given a kill assist and souls on every kill my team got no matter where I was.
On top of that, with the new fly on ground for vindicta, I was able to slide infinitely as long as it was up and was just a head sticking out of the ground (Like mo and krill visually)
