Video memory leak on Linux Mint

Hello, there seems to be a video memory leak that can be seen in Deadlock with Linux mint cinnamon.
The game will constantly use 7GB+ of Vmem, or however much video memory it can take until vmem usage reaches 100%
Changing the display settings lower or higher does not free the memory, and no matter how low the settings are, the game will constantly continue to eat more memory until it reaches 100% usage. it also does not change whether proton experimental is used or not. Windows does not have this issue however, with the same hardware.

The leak continues after matches in post-game, and even into the lobby.
Restarting the game will re-start the process.

Info:
OS: Linux Mint 21.3 Cinnamon 6.0.4
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X (32) @ 3.400GHz
GPU: Nvidia 4070 Ti 12GB
Memory 64 GB
Displays: Resolution: 2160x3840, 5120x2880, 5120x2880
Game Version: Build 5409
Display API: Vulkan

Hello, I have re-verified this in the current build (5591)
This memory leak gets much worse when opening the shop, or tab-menu in game, but I have not seen the issue with the pause menu.
The leak is not as bad, but still happens on low settings. It is much worse on any other setting than the absolute lowest.
