Victor ult with cheat death = unkillable to Aura

Steps to reproduce on Victor:

Have cheat death of CD
Have ult off CD
Press 3 and wait to die, putting ult on CD
wait again to die, this time with ult on CD.
cheat death will proc on death. Aura is still going.
After, cheat death, you will be left at 1hp and aura is still going. This should kill you, right?

Other sources seem to be able to kill you, such as the punch dummy in the training range.

cheat death just prevents you from going below 1 hp, so the moment you hit 1 hp, it triggers
