Very unplayable FPS (& the possible cause)

i7 7700K @ 4.4Ghz, GTX 1070 getting around 60fps at 1440p.
However, this really atrocious bug will drop my fps to below 20 making the rest of the match absolute nightmare to slog through. Ive noticed when this happens even opening the shop drops me to 15fps. This bug is still in the game as in its not isolated to a specific patch. Both Vulkan & Dx11 suffers from this.
having my gpu pinned at 100% while giving me 20fps even when enabled FSR Ultra Perf which is the lowest resolution it can run is not acceptable.

Here are the two matches Ive experienced this happening & both games have a Wraith on the enemy.

Wraith death used to cause FPS drop in past, could be the issue remaind for you, but also that GPU is pretty outdated

A gtx 1070 is old but not obsolete. I can run Cyberpunk 2077 with 800 mod files at High settings 1440p 30fps FSR Quality. Deadlock should not struggle at 20fps with FSR Ultra Perf. This is clearly some sort of bug.
