Venator Crossbow with LightningScroll+Ricochet

If Venator has Ricochet the shots from his crossbow will chain to other targets. If he also has Lightning Scroll, the targets the shot bounces too and damages will not suffer lightning.

It could be perhaps the Ricochet bounces are not the same type of shot? Similar to Paradox + Express shot?
