Using a build breaks recommended items

When selecting and utilizing a build on a hero, the recommended items section of the curiosity shop fails to load any items leaving it completely blank for the user. From what I have observed, the shop only displays this behavior when trying to use a build. It was observed on several characters.

This seems to occur when favoriting a build in a match when the screen prior to loading a match was the public builds. Favoriting a build in-game will reset the recommended page and show no items.
