Unable to report player for leaving match

Player left match at the beginning after laning started, and we were unable to report the player as their profile disappeared from the ESC menu. Is there a way to report without waiting till the end of the game? Apologies if I just missed the option somewhere.

I've been getting leavers in almost every game and I'm wondering the same thing. Apparently there's a low priority match making system now but I'm assuming you have to actually report people to send them there since otherwise I doubt there would be this many. Right now I believe the only option is going back into your game history tab after the match is over. (No, apparently that doesn't work either)

I think it is sensible to wait for match end before you can complain about someone leaving. A good amount of time it is them crashing, so after a short while they may come back. If you could report during match, that would mean they returned to a match they will have lost farm in and with the report get doubly punished for crashing.
Or you could get a strike for wrong reporting ("you said they've left match, but look, there they are").

The report to not be there though after reconnect seems wrong though.
