Normally I use the M4 button as my ping/chat wheel hotkey, but I noticed that I was unable to directly ping enemies with it. When I did, the ping was green, as if I was pinging their location by clicking on terrain, even though it was directly on then. With further testing, I saw that I had M4 set as both Ping/Chat Wheel and Chat Wheel. When switching one of those to the middle mouse button, the problem went away and I was able to directly ping enemies with both the middle mouse button and M4.
I was able to essentially fix this for myself by leaving only "Y" as the chat wheel hotkey so it's not important at all, but felt like I should post this on the forums anyway, since it seems like a weird bug/interaction caused by having the same hotkey in Ping/Chat Wheel and Chat Wheel.
