Ult Idea for Magician

Showstopper

The Magician throws his hat in his direction and any enemy hero hit by it will be imprisoned in a box for 4 seconds. At the end of its duration, the box slices itself with a saw blade that deals spirit damage. The box has a certain HP and scales with Spirit Power. The allies of that trapped enemy can set the individual free by smashing the box with their weapons or abilities. However, the box is invulnerable to the Magician and his allies.

T1: Add more bonus spirit damage
T2: Add more HP to the box for the enemies to smash
T3: The Assistant also mimics this ability

Think it about this way. While it served its purpose as a battlefield removal ability by imprisoning one enemy, it can also become what magicians call "MISDIRECTION" putting enemies' attention to the box. This can only mean less damage or ability thrown at your team while they become sitting ducks while trying to free their teammate from the box. By smashing the box only available to enemies it acts as a counterplay to the saw blade because the battlefield removal ability is already strong. I'm glad you liked it.

Although it may seem powerful, but by having the box be breakable for opponents counteracts its power.

i feel like the assistant should be his ult considering it does a lot things and make the showstopper a basic ability

You do have a point. I still think Showstopper is fit for to be his ult. Making The Assistant his ult would be more lackluster of a trick compared to Showstopper.

Unless the Assistant recasts your other abilities. Twice the rabbits, twice the showstopper, twice the vexing bolt. Combined with Echo Shard or Refresher, he'd be quite formidable

You have a really good point with the Echo Shard and Refresher making him really strong.

i agree with this idea, however, to add if i may, make it so when the saw blade hitting the box, add aoe damage effect, so theres also a risk for trying to save the hero that trapped in the box, make it like its pocket 2nd ability but targeted to the enemies.
