Two people can't play at the same time if connected to the same internet connection

I was trying to play with some friends, the two of them live together and are connected to the same internet connection. They cannot connect to a lobby at the same time, or different lobbies at the same time. If all 3 of us queue together one will connect to the game, while the other is stuck on the loading screen until eventually the game is canceled and we are all kicked back to the home screen.

Adding the logs from the console.

One file is my own logs (different connection from the other two), one is from the person stuck in the loading screen and one is from the person that managed to connect to the game.

I have played with someone on the same network as me without issue which makes me think this may be an issue with their local network.

I'd like to help troubleshoot this with you-

If they queue alone are they able to queue/play just fine?

Are they able to play any other online games together? And did it just start happening in Deadlock or have they never been able to play Deadlock together while on the same network

And, what kind of router do they use? Any kind of error logs within their router that would indicate any issues? I would suggest looking for any kind of errors related to UPnP, IP conflicts or NAT issues. I would also suggest not posting the router error logs here as those contain more sensitive information.

iirc about what Saizaku told me, one of them had problems joining their own independent bot game in the meantime while the other person was playing a normal game as well.
We've played other games with both of them at the same time, so seems for now to be deadlock-specific. Not completely sure though, just what I've heard.

So I'm guessing it is a case where the first person on the network that connects to a server is able to and the second person that tries to is unable to?

Once we know what kind of network equipment they are using then that may give more of an idea of what's going on - but this is a pretty common issue for a bunch of different games and it usually ends up being UPnP or NAT related.

Not really as the other person just didn't try to play anymore, I personally suspect some kind of NAT issue in combination with how valve handles identifying unique connections to the game server. Since they can play other games together with no issues.
