Just a fun idea, nothing game breaking, but have two shopkeepers/two separate businesses.
Same items for sale, just different personalities/designs/terf. It is New York after all, there's all sorts of businesses wanting a slice of the big cursed apple.
Coming from a Greek background and falling into the stereotype of running a cake/coffee store, all we'd ever do is bitch and gossip about our competition on the same street (they started it). They were great neighbors and people but the running jokes gave us both the will to be in the dreaded food service industry lol.
So basically, High street stores can be the Curiosity store we have now, but only operating on one half of the map. Eg: Yellow lane, Green lane, left side underground and Sapphire Flame base.
Main street stores (Blue lane, Purple lane, right side underground and Amber Hand base) should be some other friendly competition that secretly hates the Curiosity store. Maybe the inventor of the Sinners Sacrifice machines could be the other store owner?
The shopkeeper personality we have now seems like some one you'd want to have a beer with, he's fun, hospitable and the overall the zeitgeist of the map.
Perhaps the other store owner can be the type of person who would hide a body for you but would also open up like a book at the slightest bit of physical interrogation.
Best example I can think of: Jack Jeebs - Men in Black.
Dota 2 also had 2 side shops at one stage with Quirt and Sithil:
Anyway, just a bit of fun variety to give even more life into Deadlock (even though it's already overflowing with such unique character lol).
