Trophy collector doesn't trigger when killing Victor with his ultimate

When killing Victor while he has ultimate up, Mo and Krill gains charges on the ultimate, but trophy collector gains no charges.
This might be intended with Trophy collector as it states when you "Score" a kill, but this does seem inconsistent and a penalty towards Trophy collector.
I am not sure if this is intended.

Can confirm, as far as I can tell every source of gaining permanent effects from kills works with Victor's ult except Trophy Collector.

I tested M&K ult, Vindicta ult, Grey Talon ult, Bebop bomb, Drifter passive, glass cannon, and siphon bullets.
