Weapon stats would be a close range "sawed-off shotgun" type gun. Instead of a burst it could fire one semi strong slug to make it more unique. I'm thinking in my head being able to fire a shot maybe 1-1.5 times a second so they would be pretty powerful shots but take a while to shoot. Maybe has a fast Velocity but also a fast fall off so up close it hits fast but cant be used to snipe.
Vitality stats would mainly be focused on the movement and stamina. Possibly sacrificing health for a fast base move speed. Ideally maybe 4 stamina to start especially if they have lower health. This would allow them to lane close enough to get their damage but not constantly be feeding cause they have to play close. Their movement could also scale with spirit like Sinclair.
Ability 1 could be a stunning knife stab. With bonus damage if striking behind an enemy hero. This would incentivize using their high mobility to get good positioning and keep enemies more on their toes about the world around them. The upgrades can be basic cooldowns and damage boosters, but you could also experiment with having it spread to another nearby enemy hero when getting a successful backstab. The Trickster will like summon a clone to be behind the closest enemy hero to do reduced damage and a stun as well. This could be very helpful in team fights and also give him more of an advantage during laning that he might need due to his slow gun.
Ability 2 could be a bird transformation maybe just something like a pigeon where the trickster could escape bad situations. This can be replaced with any mobility power to be honest.
Ability 3 I was thinking could be a summon of some kind. This could be a charged ability too so you could upgrade it with items or maybe just with the AP and get multiple summons charged. These summons can either be tethered to the ground as a way of crowd control or could be "minion-esque" and be more dps focused during team fights. The minions could also help with pushing lanes and creep buildup. I gave two options as I think you would need to playtest/see it in action to really decide or determine if it would be a bad idea or not.
The Ultimate Ability I like the idea @Friedhope had which I'm going to quote,
"I had an Idea for an ability where a hero would project multiple clones of themselves out in a circle (think Double Team from the Pokemon anime) The clones would encircle an area in front of the player and be facing inward, the catch is that these clones can also replicate the hero's damage for a short time so it would be a massive burst of damage aimed inward.
This ability would be in a unique position where; the less enemies that are in the targeted area, the more effective *encircling clone ability* would be as more enemies would split more of the damage.
I pictured this ability being on the stronger side and think it would make a cool ultimate" - @Friedhope June 14th 12:11 AM PST
This would fit the theme of trickster and I think would just be pretty cool! Especially with the slower gun it would be more of a big pop on the enemies vs a large constant firing which I think would be unique in this game and just kinda cool.
