Tooltip stuck after spectating

When I was spectating someone and hovering over an item reading the tooltip I respawned and the tooltip was stuck on my screen until hovering over one of my abilities.
I didn't have any items at the time.

Had this happen to me today.
To reproduce:
1. Die
2. Spectate teammate
3. Hover over teammates's active slot (I looked at Haze's Silencer)
4. Respawn
5. Item tooltip stuck.

Bumping because I have this issue as well, can't "un-hover" the item skill because there is no option to change to mouse after reviving. And I don't have active skill either so I can't override the tooltip with my own active skill.
