Over several months of playing the game, I noticed that Haze has some of the highest pick and win rates in Deadlock (according to https://tracklock.gg/heroes).
Naturally, the simplest way to balance Haze would be to nerf her. However, I believe Haze is already a very enjoyable hero to play due to her mobility, precision, and versatility, and her core gameplay doesn't necessarily need drastic changes.
Instead, I propose buffing other heroes—starting with those with the lowest win rates—until they are balanced enough to compete with Haze. This approach aligns with the "buff till balanced" philosophy in games like Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, where rather than nerfing the most powerful characters, which risks alienating their players, Capcom developers enhanced weaker characters to create a more enjoyable experience for everyone.
Hopefully, this strategy could make Deadlock more satisfying for non-Haze players without compromising Haze's identity as a fun and dynamic hero.
