The empowered heavy melee deals no damage
Concept:
- Your next heavy melee CANNOT be parried, however if an enemy does attempt to parry the empowered heavy melee, that enemy does not suffer from missed parry cool down and items such as Rebutal will not be triggered or go on cool down.
- The empowered melee will do no damage and in return will randomly reduce a non-ultimate ability's cool down by 50% of its current time remaining and the user gains a temporary increase to fire rate.
- While ideal on heroes such as Billy, heavy-damage melee abilities (e.g., Bashdown) do not trigger this item.
- This item does NOT trigger other "on melee" items.
Alternatively, the item could be made into a T2 or T3 item by:
- Increasing its cool down from 5 seconds to 7
- Have it trigger other "on melee" items despite not inflicting any damage and those items having little to no return on investment, but allow for non-damage related melee item effects to still trigger - such as Lifestrike's 2.5 second movement slow and the the bonus 160 health being restored, or Spirit Snatch's Spirit Resist steal.
