Lmao the "LOL route"? Most MMOs, RTS, RPG and FPS have it to the right.
But I do agree with giving players the option to switch, every ability to customize is a good decision

You know in dota-allstars forum there were suggestions to rotate the map because people often misclick, when running back to sentinel fountain instead they click the map and go forward towards scrouge?? Nothing wrong with the right side minimap.

honestly not a bad idea to allow people to flip the map and inventory. It's already like that in dota, could make it feel more natural to those players.
