The game randomly disconnected and now I can't Rejoin

I was playing a match, and we fought for mid around the ~40 minute mark, and we won the fight and were cleaning up when the game randomly kicked me back to the main menu. I then had attempted to reconnect for the past 40 minutes making sure to restart my Deadlock Client, my Steam Client and then the Deadlock Client, even restart my computer. At this point the game has to be complete I assume (1.5 hours have passed now), but I refuse to "abandon" the match and it still says rejoin. I can't play any other games until this match completes, or I abandon, and I take the penalty as I didn't do anything wrong.

It has been 6 hours since I posted this almost 7 hours since the original game, as you can see via the screenshot the match is "Still in Progress". Rejoin does not work still and I refuse to abandon and get penalized for this.

Same thing just happened to me. Unfortunately, I really doubt anyone from Valve is going to respond.

It has now been more than24 hours and the game still will not disconnect me from the game unless I abandon. I stand by my principles, I will continue to update this thread every day until it corrects itself as I will not take a penalty for something I am not responsible for. I love the game, love the developers, this isn't me hating on anyone or anything. Just showing what others may be experiencing but taking bans for that they shouldn't.

I have checked after work today, it seems the game has figured itself out. No penalty was incurred. I'm not sure if there was a server maintenance or something else that closed out the rejoin game bug, but it works. If anyone encounters issues like this as well, know that it could take at least 3 days as is. Still very much love the game, love the dev team. I wish I knew why this happened but either way, cheers and best of luck.
