The game lags after the Feb 25 patch

Playing on the Ubuntu. After the most recent update (Feb 25), the game lags at various video settings. For example, when I rotate the view, the camera tends to be snappy instead of smooth rotation.

My system settings are:
Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS
Intel Corporation 12th Gen Core Processor Gaussian & Neural Accelerator
GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER
32 GB RAM

PS
I also had to include the following command `PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=1 %command%`. Otherwise, the game crashes right after the valve logo.

Yes! I think my "snappyness" is even more pronounced. This happens even at very low video settings.
