They both ran, with nothing guiding them except the single dying lantern. Every flicker felt like a warning. Something moved behind them. Each time they turned, there was only darkness stretching back into itself. One of the men reached for the next doorway and pulled at the handle. The handle didn’t budge.
A cold rush of air swept past. Before fully turning, the other man was yanked backwards. It was just a sharp shift into the dark that swallowed him whole. No scream, no struggle. The door finally opened and the other man forced himself to continue running. Every shadow looked alive, twisting, leaning, stretching. He pressed forward until he found a broken mirror on the wall. His reflection did not stare back but facing away. But then the reflection twitched.
His reflection turned its head slowly, the eyes appear gouged and blood running down along a pale face, as if gasping for air. The walls around him felt like they have shifted. The corridor behind him fell silent. Then something unseen seized him, swallowing them into the darkness.

Weapon and Stats

Fire / Zoom
A copy of Paradox's weapon, literally a copy paste on everything to simplify. Just cosmetically their hand instead of a gun.
I think its appropriate. Maybe hard to have Dark Terror switch hands between the burst fire like Drifter.



Abilities

1)Abduction
Mine.| Aim, then rushes towards target point, dealing light melee damage in an small aoe where you arrive. For a short time after landing, can be recast in a brief window to reverse back to previous location. Upon recast, if an enemy hero was hit within radius, kidnap the closest one back towards your previous location and deal damage upon return. A1 +5 cast range A2 -15s cool down A3 +5(?) bullet damage damage for 10s after casting and now deals heavy melee |

Wraith Evolve using Abduct2)Body split

3)Alteration
Metamorphasis| Transform, becoming something greater, changing your primary fire to have limited range and dealing AOE damage that cannot headshot. A1 +200 health during transformation A2 +20s duration A3 -65s cool down and +100 spirit damage per bullet |

Duration: 30s


Straight copy of Viscous Secondary Fire which replaces the Primary fire with better fire rate.
Cannot recast Abduction during Alteration.
4)Reflection
Your own worst enemy.| Creates an invulnerable dark reflection of all enemy heroes in a radius around you. Affected enemy heroes are attacked by their reflection. A1 +9 radius A2 +7s duration A3 affected enemies are slowed by 40% |

Thoughts and Finishes
Originally had Faceless Void in the picture, focusing on Time Walk and slowly working into a Chronosphere. That's the reason for Dark Terror name. The abilities in mind were not feeling related or not feeling harmonious to the kit, but I really liked Time Walk idea, didn't want a Weaver ultimate and i didn't want to change my mind!
Wraith from Evolve, is a very mobile and deadly assassin.. Her ability to Abduct was similar to what I originally envisioned and she is considered an "Illusionist" in my books, which changed my hero idea to feel more fitting. She also has a passive in that game, Isolation, which sound like Drifter!
I think deadlock could have more sinister or down right evil characters. I am sure everyone can be evil in their own way in deadlock. But there are probably far greater forces out there and hopefully they are playable rather than just pieces of lore we read. no offense lorekeepers!
Terror blade's ultimate is given to Geist and I assumed a illusion hero has been already in the works but wanted to keep sharing my ideas on them. Having an illusion chase their target is the only simple way to implement right now. Where as a lot of people want control, either that be for farming, team fights or jukes which is all valid reasons. It seems pretty difficult to implement and so far the only idea is uncontrollable npcs (pets that stick next to you or auto run to lanes) and auto attacking creeps or random heroes with no attack command... I'm sure people are 100% fine with an illusion that just walks forward or has some pathing, but inevitably running into a wall. Similar to Yoru in Valorant, funny strategies revolve around it!
Extra) Olimar Pikman!
I had another ""brood mother"" idea that occurred but couldn't fit into the kit during Wereraptor. Its more like... Pikman! Everyone knows this funny game! For those unfamiliar and to remind people, controlling Pikman is through a whistle, directing, and throwing. Whistle allows you direct the swarm to move towards the location you target and can also recall Pikman to you. Throwing Pikman in a targeted area forces those pikman to attack or focus on a specific target in their radius.

Olimar Smash BrosAttacking, using an ability to command minions to attack your target can either be an ability itself to throw or command. Recalling a group of minions could be done by zooming in on minions or simply alt casting the command skill. Whichever and how ever the hero someone decides to flesh out.
