So this has been happening quite a lot lately, where queue pops only to get a "Cannot connect to server" popup. Looking in console it says discarding inactive session.
I assumed it was safe to abandon at that point without penalty, alas it was not. Even though it says "lobby destroyed for match xxx" later, I still got hit with a 6hr temp ban.
