Temp Ban after Patch Download

A little after 2pm CST, after finishing a game & attempting to queue for another, I was notified to exit and download the new patch. After loading the game and attempting matchmaking again, I received a notification of a temporary ban until after 8pm CST tonight. I was certain it was an error, and verified on my behavior summary that I had no features disabled due to behavior. I did not abandon the last match I played, but did have to step away from the keyboard - for only a couple minutes. I returned and finished the game with my teammates - who were very understanding.

I'm unsure where to go from here & would like help with restoring my account and lifting the ban. Any information on what happened would be very appreciated! Thank you!

I received a temp ban for for internet crash, was able to rejoin and win the game then got a 9 hour temp ban. I contacted a discord mod and they said: "In-game bans such as that nature are handled by Valve and their systems, and there is no traditional method of "contacting support" in this case."
 
I had an internet connectivity issue and rejoined my match in about 5 minutes and also got a 6 hour ban. I don't think there's anything that can be done about it at this point, unfortunately. That's either the 2nd or 3rd time I've left in a total of 352 games played.

this is every other game almost and results in a 6 hour ban each time,
its absolute garbage that the developers havent put out a single patch for crashes and stability but make you redownload patches every 30 minutes from steam where theyre clearly changes things on a minute to minute basis. @Yoshi
