I'm pretty sure there is if you hit r when you die.

I think emotes/taunts (character specific) would be a great addition, adds character and is fun to do, another way to communicate, etc.

Agreed, I want to heroes to feel alive like in TF2 for example, even Dota2 has taunts and small details

If Valve decides to keep the UI player character portraits up top, maybe they could do something like animated taunts.
