Trophy Hunter(1).pngThe issues with trophy collector's design have been discussed a million times already. Doesn't work well with games up to 30 minutes Deadlock currently has, doesn't provide a power spike for 2400 souls and so on. Then I thought that healbane's heal on kill like it hits right home with trophy collector's design philosophy of looking for kills and picks. And as such, I decided that it should be reworked into something like this: gain a bonus on kill, then go on cooldown so it's an item for heroes that look for singular kills, and upgrade from healbane. Stats are completely exemplary, the item can reward you with anything else you see fit.

Takes away too much of what makes trophy collector a unique item, and doesn't even fix much of what makes current TC a dead item so it'll still be a dead item.

Once again the stats are only there to demonstrate the idea, just something unique I came up with that's not in the game yet. Main point is that I'd want to see TC to be a healbane upgrade that rewards you with something on kill. Though it's true that this item doesn't provide an immediate strong power spike either, but I thought it would be fine with the price of 1600 (upgrading from healbane) and immediate full value on just 1 kill.
 
I really like this as it gives a good alternative to trophy collector to heroes who want to roam early/mid game instead of side lane, but aren't able to benefit from TC stats.
