T2 Vitality Item: "Parry Pulse"

  • +20% Melee resist
  • -1s unsuccessful parry cooldown
  • Passive: Upon a successful parry you will release 60% of the parried melee's damage in a 10m AOE blast around your character.

Not sure on what the exact numbers should be but I think the base idea works. Should be a niche, but useful counterpick item against punch happy opponents. Might also have uses against parryable npcs like the guardians. I also envision this having a unique interaction with Viscous where with careful placement he can parry his own puddle punch resulting in even more damage.
 
I feel like Parrying is already VERY punishing if you get a successful one. Pretty much any time before 8 minutes it's almost a guaranteed kill in most situations. Even when it isn't a kill, it will get someone so low they either have to go back to heal (about the same effect as a kill) or play defensively for most of the rest of the lane phase.

Late game Parries can make or break entire team fights. I don't think Parrying needs an item that makes the stronger.
 
How about an item that actually helps reduce penalties when you get parried ? Reduced stun time or reduced incoming dmg when stunned from parry ?
