system overheating with default settings

I've only played about 5 games, but in my most recent game I was playing and my system fans all escalated to their maximum level, something they've never done on any other game. My best guess is the default settings don't have a frame limit and I was rendering many unused frames.

Write full specifications of your computer including cooling

Quick update here that I've now reproduced the issue on Halo Infinite with rather high settings, so not a Deadlock issue.
