STARTING NOTES

This character is a reimagining of the scrapped hero swan, keeping their passive that made dashes give bonus damage and giving them a rhythm game style of gameplay where dealing damage on the beats of a song that plays gives you bonus damage.

This on tempo and dash bonus damage comes together to create a high skill ceiling hero that you can pick up and do relatively fine, but with time learning them you can output insane amounts of gun damage while remaining nimble and hard to catch, being a glass cannon type of character that specialises in amping your damage with your dashes and On Tempo and Again! with naturally low cooldowns.

The song that plays is in 5/4 and would sound similar in vibe to Dave Brubeck's Take Five. (

Not sure for their reason of joining the ritual, it might be to help a friend or a fellow ballerina from some kind of threat in NYC.

Gun would have a feel like Doorman, with lower fire rate but bigger damage. This low fire rate is to facilitate purposeful activation of On Tempo.

Has higher light melee damage, making it more effective to light melee rather then heavy melee on Swan.

Below average health to facilitate glass cannon nature, with reduced dash speed with spirit scaling and reduced stamina cooldown (compared to other heroes).
They start with less stamina to balance this reduced stamina cooldown. Investing into Pirouette's T2 can mitigate this to gain more mobility.

Your main Spirit Damage tool.
T1 puts ability on 7s, and you can use the ability every 2.5s. This facilitates a gameplay style of running down onto a single enemy and blowing them up with focused use of your gun between use of Again!
T2 allows you to gain an extra charge to gain upwards of 12.5% Damage Amp on Target (20% Damage Amp on T3).
Boundless Spirit allows you to do +152 Spirit Damage per use of Again!, enabling you to do insane spirit damage on a target (not accounting for damage amp).

PIROUETTE

(On Tempo causes the whole DPS to be increased by the tempo bonus damage.)


Pirouette is a jack of all trade's ability facilitating gun, spirit and movement.
Passive gives 10% Gun Damage Amp, and at T3 you can gain 20% Gun Damage Amp.
With Boundless Spirit 23 DPS over 5. With consecutive uses with Boundless Spirit causes 69 DPS over 5s.

ON TEMPO

Swan's gun amp and mobility tool.
Gives movement speed to keep on top of enemies. It also increases your fire rate and song speed which facilitates you to shoot more and have more opportunities to proc your bonus damage on the song beats. T3 amplifies this ability overall.
T2 lowers cooldown to 30s. Investing into this ability facilities your gun damage, weaking your spirit output if you invest AP into this ability early.

ENCORE

Encore is used in a way similar to Yamato Ult where you use it when you engage into a fight to make you harder to kill (in this case because of your extra move speed rather then granting resists).
If you're ahead or confident in your song timing you can invest into your Ult's T3 early to max your Tempo Bonus Damage. This would also mean you'd be encouraged to buy cooldown reduction to use it more, an item otherwise not needed on Swan due to their naturally low cooldowns - giving talented players an interesting choice.
T2 gives a big buff to your duration, and facilitates buying Superior Duration which amps your Pirouette damage and the duration of your amp stacks.

CLOSING NOTES
Having such a low fire rate makes building gun on this hero hard despite being a gun-focused hero. I also feel the DOT of Pirouette could just be flat spirit damage instead of a DOT. Either way im fairly happy with this one, any and all feedback/critique is 100% welcome and appreciated.
