Sunshiner's Parasol, an item that lets you glide and block damage from above

This would be an active item that slows your falling speed and reduces damage taken from above (storm cloud, death slam, assassinate etc.) for a few seconds. I think this could allow for some sick map rotation plays when used in concert with bouncepads and good movement, while also having a useful defensive aspect to it. I included a quick mockup of what the effect could look like.
(It wouldn't need to be an orange item, might make more sense as green or purple I just used warp stone as a base)

Very cool idea.

Really like how this can play into quite a lot of characters. Initially, it feels ultra niche, but thinking longer this has a lot of applications.

Hero interactions (Buff/Counter):
Bebop: To get greater range bebop tends to be above when using his ultimate.
Grey Talon: Tends to want to be in the air shooting off lots of arrows. Ulti might explode on the ground or in air, so maybe good against that too?
McGinnis: Tends to want to shoot from higher ground with rockets.
Kelvin: Likes to be on an ice ramp above.
Pocket: Ulti + briefcase are almost always above.

All Heroes: The added mobility from vents, bounce pads, and the zipline are probably crazy.
Haze: I think if this item weren't a weapon, it could be really cool on haze. Doing a slow-fall ultimate would be good.
Lash: Depending on how this worked with his mobility kit this might be better the majestic leap.
McGinnis: On of her key issues is being vulnerable when using her ultimate, if she could walk of a ledge and float down slowly I think it would help her live in a few cases. Not sure if it's worth 3000 to her, but would be interesting.
Viscous: I think this would be fun!

Suggested Alterations:
- Item can be cast on allies + self. Just feel like having this grantable to an ally would cool.
- Might also make sense to have this be an upgrade for Divine Barrier.

P.S. Considering Heroic Aura is basically an item designed specifically for McGinnis, I think having something like this might be reasonable.

thanks for the link! an upgrade for divine barrier is interesting, I could see some cool teamplay happening with this
