Subject: Addressing Team Communication Issues in Ranked Matches
After extensive gameplay since the game’s release, I've realized there’s a critical issue with team communication, especially in ranked matches. It’s essential for a strategy game like this to enable all players to communicate effectively with each other, ideally through voice chat. Unfortunately, players can currently join ranked matches without a microphone, leaving them unable to coordinate with their team. This results in a lone-wolf playstyle where they’re moving around independently without updating the team, which compromises the group’s overall strategy.
This game isn’t like Call of Duty, where individual players can operate separately; it’s designed around cohesive team play. When even one player—and sometimes an entire team—cannot communicate effectively, it makes the game nearly unplayable as a coordinated strategy experience. Regardless of how much effort one puts into carrying the team, in the end, it usually takes at least two fully coordinated team fights to secure a win.
I understand that the game is still evolving, but I’m sure that most gamers who play similar team-based strategy games would agree that communication in ranked matches is a serious issue. At the very least, players who cannot communicate should not be able to queue for ranked games. This would prevent them from disrupting players with higher ranks who are committed to a true team-based experience.
