street brawl. getting an active item as a "bonus" (when you have a component) will not be usable until next round

i have the option to pick which slot to put the active in enabled, it might be related.
at the beginning of the next round (item picking) the active shows up in active slots as it should, but for the round you get it as a "bonus" its not usable, not in any of the active slots
