Stick/deadzone movement bug for Viscous ult

When you press a cardinal direction on a joystick (I've tested Steam Deck and the Azeron keypad) in Viscous ball, the input appears to constantly shift. It's almost like there's a deadzone right at each of the cardinal directions. This makes it hard to go in a straight line, and it also makes turning weird. This mostly affects forward movement because I try to keep my camera pointing in the direction I'm rolling, but it also seems to happen when rolling directly to the right, left, or back. Oddly, you can roll at angles between the cardinal directions without any deadzone/shifting.

Probably low priority for most players, but I have some messed up fingers and it's helpful to use something like the Azeron for movement and an MMO mouse for most keybinds.

In this clip, I'm walking straight forward, not changing the angle of the joystick, and using goo ball. You can see the direction immediately shifts to the left. I tried to nudge it a tiny bit back to the right, and it immediately jumped to an angle off to the right without every straightening.
