Steam chat filtering is not working in Deadlock

This is the right trend that raises really important things.
  • I would like to have support for message filtering in the game.
  • The ability to disable messages from enemies/allies/everyone.
  • The ability not to see the avatars of players who can put shocking content.
The population of the game is growing very much. Along with adequate players, a large number of toxic people also come.

Truly abhorrent example of how some people can stoop so low, especially in this case where their access can be revoked at any time. Shameful proof of how low emotional maturity is among internauts in the year of our Lord 2024. This incident serves as a stark reminder that the anonymity provided by the internet often emboldens individuals to act without regard for common decency or respect. The lack of accountability in online spaces has fostered a culture where cruelty and malice can thrive unchecked.

It is disheartening to see that despite the advancements in technology and connectivity, basic human empathy and respect seem to be regressing. The ability to hide behind a screen has turned too many into keyboard warriors, eager to inflict harm without facing the consequences. This toxic behavior not only damages the individuals targeted but also corrodes the very fabric of online communities.

The real tragedy lies in the fact that these actions reflect a deeper societal issue. It highlights the urgent need for better digital literacy, empathy training, and stricter enforcement of community guidelines across platforms. Internet users must be educated on the impact of their words and actions, and there must be a collective effort to foster a more supportive and respectful online environment.

In conclusion, this shameful episode should be a wake-up call to all of us. It is time to hold ourselves and others accountable, to champion kindness over cruelty, and to strive for a digital world where everyone feels safe and respected. The internet has the potential to be a powerful force for good, but only if we choose to use it responsibly.
