Spirit resist doesn't reduce Viktor self damage

Description says "deal spirit damage to yourself" yet spirit resist doesn't reduce it.

This is intended, when he was first released they allowed spirit resist items to be used on Victor, but changed how it worked to only deal a percentage of the DPS as self-damage. It's still spirit damage in order to proc items like Witchmail.

This is not correct. Victor's self damage in both his 2 and 3 are true damage, not spirit damage as listed in the description. You can see this on the "Incoming Damage" readout when playing Victor. Because it is true damage, it cannot proc Witchmail either.

3 description:
Unleash pain, dealing spirit damage over time to both enemies and yourself.

Where do you see true damage mentioned? Yes it registered as true damage in the damage tracker but that's exactly the issue..
