Spider Legs

would love an item like Spider Legs from dota. An active item that lets you walk on/over terrain you usually can't like walls and ceilings.

After you press the active, spirit spider legs spawn and allow you to walk up walls and even on the ceiling. Like Viscous ult, it moves your forward momentum automatically, but you can press the active again to stop in place, or space to cancel the action. You can still look around and shoot/use actives. Maybe it would have to take a bar of stamina to activate for balance.

This would be fun with any character, as it provides a different type of gameplay dynamic with the map. It would be fun to use during infernus dash, bebop ult, lash ult, shooting the enemy during it, or a tense chase.

Issues this could create are camera and player positioning, i can imagine that being a lot to update just for 1 item. Also in Dota the issue Spider Legs had was feeling lie a cheep escape tool. But it was a neutral item in dota, in deadlock it would probably be a 3k + item anyone can buy.

A simpler version would be to remove the ceiling climbing and have the active allow you to walk on just walls, and you cant shoot or use actives, making it a pure movement item.

I'd love to have this. I think allowing wall climbing and being able to attack or use abilities is fine, maybe it slows you when casting/attacking.
Making it like Viscous ult is too different from Spider Legs, it's more like Force Staff or Ogre Seal Totem.

Its way better than carpet item, which makes it too good. Majestic jump need skill to use properly and cant be used in fight, warp just a short distance displacement, carpet is best mobility item in game. This being better carpet, for a little camera issue when climbing. Too good to be in game.

It might be too strong, but capet can go anywhere, this only interacts with architecture. So for example, if you are in the enemy base and need to retreat, carpet is a lot better than spider as an escape tool because of the way the buildings are laid out. But spider might be better for more dense areas like closer to mid
