Sound Disappeared in Match

I lost sound from the match, during the time I was alive. When I am dead I was getting some of the sounds, specifically the countdowns for respawning, but I was getting nothing else. So no sound whatsoever, except for the sound you get when respawning. I got one additional sound, last heavy melee on arcade machine gave the normal sound of a punch, but that was the only sound.

I tried to disconnect and reconnect, but that did not improve it. I noticed that I got some sounds while I was alive, but it was not from the match, it was the main menu sounds.

Tried talking to my team over mic, to see if they could hear me. They tried responding verbally, but could not hear it, they typed to me that they could hear what I was saying.

Restarting the game was not an option I tried, because my computer takes too long with loading map etc.

EDIT: I have verified integraty of game files in steam, which it states all files are verified successfully. Going to restart the computer before playing a match again. Will write a reply below if I experience the same issue once more. I forgot to add in the original post that I reset all my settings, including sound, which had no impact. I have had the same settings for 3 weeks, so it does not make a lot of sense for that to be what does it.

Thread 'Game sounds disappeared progressively'

In my last game, the game sounds started disappearing one by one as the game went by. First, it was just Haze shooting and ultimate not making any sounds. Then other heroes' shooting sounds stopped working one by one. Eventually my own shooting sound, followed by skill sounds all the way to every game sound not working anymore. This all happened slowly over ~20 minutes.

I tried relogging but it didn't help. Once all sounds had disappeared, I tried restarting the client. Game crashed twice on Rejoin and on 3rd opening of the client, the Rejoin button wasn't there anymore.

In which sound disappeared progressively in the match. My post was written during the match, I wanted to be sure of what had happened. However, I experienced the same thing as well with some sounds disappearing at the start. Did not write in the original post, because I wanted to be sure of everything that happened.

Will be recording the games I play today, in case the bug occurs again, so I can hopefully find out what causes it. I have asked Silhouette to share the match id so I can check if we share any of the same items, in case it is caused by an item.

EDIT: Played a match with same items. Did not get the sound issue. I am recording my games though, so if I do get, I will find out what.
