Prayer Beads (aka Austerity)
Cost 500 souls. 1.5hp regen. Every soul currently in the owner's possession adds 1.3% spirit armor and 0.013 spirit power to a maximum of 4500 souls.
Active: Consumes 100 souls to heal 75 points and gain 50 point bullet and spirit shields for a nearby ally and user. Duration: 7 seconds. Cooldown 7.5 seconds.
It upgrades to:

Alms Bowl (aka Philanthropy)
Cost 4000 souls. 1.5hp regen +12% spirit armor and 12 spirit power. Increases the spirit armor bonus to 1.7% and 0.017 spirit power to a maximum of 4500 souls.
Active: Consumes 750 souls to gain 10X extra aura regen and +125 point bullet and spirit shields for allied heroes in range for 10 seconds. In addition, one debuff is removed and one random buff is applied to all allies in range. The buff persists for up to 15 seconds for allies that leave the effect circle. Range: 8m. Cooldown 30 seconds

Thought about a revision for the upgrade.

Cost 4000 souls. 2hp regen +12% spirit armor and 12 spirit power. Increases the spirit armor bonus to 1.7% and 0.017 spirit power to a maximum of 4500 souls.
Active (aka Dharma's respite): Consumes 550 souls to create an 8m aura dome at the user's current location. All allies standing in or entering the dome receive 10X user's health regen, 30% spirit armor. All bullet damage originating from within the dome is reduced by 30%. On cast and once every 3.3 seconds thereafter, a random debuff is purged from all allies in range. The health regen and spirit armor persists for up to 3 seconds for allies that leave the dome, but they can re-enter to gain the benefits. Duration: 10 seconds Range: 8m. Cooldown 75 seconds.
