Silencer Inspired Character but They're a Traditional Catholic Priest.

Given the setting I think it would make sense that in lore there are people who still have old world beliefs that would do anything to get rid of all the magic and monsters in this world.

So gameplay wise, of course they'd work like Silencer, more about their skills/spells than damage.

Global Silence being the ult, of course, and a nuke based silence as one of the skills ,etc etc.

It's not much of a fully thought out idea but I think a part of the gameplay of silencer would work pretty easily lore wise and gameplay wise with this game.

General look would be akin to traditional robes, but maybe with the European hoods to add to the occult/mystic themes.

Very controversial to go with hooded robes, reminiscent of the notorious Klu Klux Klan, but aesthetically, yes, very strong concept. Ideally, not a reference to the KKK, but their Catholic (?) origins. I want to see more out of this character concept, though. Yes, it's cool that a religious order would have an adverse reaction to magic and occultism, desiring to bring about their holy kingdom of god, instead. What is super cool about Nortrom's story is that he is a magical prodigy who was expected to come out flying with tons of magical spells and stuff, and his mentors were all like, "why aren't you practicing magic for the tournament, bro?" and he came out, and he was like... "I have trained in the martial arts, because I can shut off all of your magic!"

I don't know, but this concept needs something to bump him/them to the next level. Even villains have to be well fleshed out and have a background. Ideally, whatever that is would reflect in his appearance, so that we're not just seeing a very bland looking priest. For example, let's say that this character is actually a ghost, and in a heretical fashion, they used magic to come back from the dead to seek their mission of destroying all magic--it's the Demon Hunter.

Then, you can look at your inspirations, and be like, okay, we got Nordstrom Rack, the Silencer, and we've got the Demon Hunter. What do these themes have in common, and how can I blend them into a really compelling character design, with a really cool kit?
