it's actually ridiculous haha, I can't believe we have to play against shiv for this long, there literally is no counter, I get decay toxic bullets healbane and it does nothing. Shiv still dives towers and walkers with ease.
 
Its crazy I can beat a shiv in lane pre ult. but as soon as he gets it and has full rage he can tower dive me when im full hp, kill me, and get out at full hp.
 
Even as Abrams, I can't outsustain Shiv. If it's my skill issue, gee, but Shiv is always a pain to face in lane. Feels imba and wins by cheap duels. Which suits the character's aesthetics but he's a bit too op still.
 
With respect, Is he really unbalanced? Have you played with it? Shiv require you to always seek damage to keep the Rage(10seconds), and his skills are close range except for dangers but good luck hitting it on 50m. So it is hustle to play Shiv good. All you have to do is keep the distance and look at your health bar. OFC if you let it demolish you in first 10 minutes he will be OP later on but it goes for almost any character.

Debuff Remover is the ONLY thing that works, and it's crazy expensive to save for. You'll probably see the same issue with Infernus. Both are DOT characters and there is no 500 soul cost item to help prevent them from snowballing out of control. You just have to pray that they're bad players and won't steamroll you.
 
His rage and passive are a problem.
25% dmg buff, takes 45% dmg later and finisher with his ult with insane range.

you need to kill him twice while he only needs to deal about 50% dmg (without the rage buff) to you before he can finish you off. And when everything is done, he presses a button and all the dmg dealt to him is gone.

For example when both have 1000 HP and deal 100dps:
you only deal 65dps to shiv, the rest is applied after x seconds -> 15 seconds to kill him, minus a little bit for the deferred dmg, so lets say about 12 seconds.
shiv deals 125dps to you, but he only has to deal 720 dmg before he can finish you off with ult. -> 5.76 seconds
-> time to kill Shiv is twice as long as he needs to kill you, which is a problem.
His ult with 20m range is problematic too, because you cant just kite him around to outplay him.
 
this post is under the wrong thread. this is bug reports. if you were to point out something as a bug it could be a replay where the dagger curves to the side "homing" on you as some have said when it just has a slight drop off, or how the VFX of the ability and its hitbox don't match making what seam like clear misses still hit.
